I will take on any landscape project to be painted in oils. I don't do animals or people.
My minimum price for a commission is £150. The price is determined by the size and the difficulty of the piece. For example, £150 would be an A3 size simple landscape.
If you want me to, I can include the cost of framing the piece. We will discuss what frames are available at the point of ordering. I will deliver/post free inside the UK. This will be sent via Royal Mail Insured or 48 hrs Parcel Force. For orders inside 30 miles of Burton upon Trent, I will deliver. Outside the UK, we will discuss delivery costs.
You contact me with an idea of what you want, often people have a place they want painting, or a photo. I will work with you to discuss what you want, and what is possible. Once it is agreed, and you are happy with the price, I will send you a contract. This just sets out the terms and conditions. When you sign, I will require a 25% deposit from you. This is non- refundable, and covers my basic costs.
I will then work on the piece and share with you the completed image via email. As long as you are happy, then you pay the balance, and I arrange delivery to you.
Normally around a month from initial deposit paid to completed, but sometimes when I am busy, this may be longer. I will let you know expected delivery timescale before you pay your deposit.
Of course. I work with an excellent printer who will print your piece onto a box canvas ready to hang. This is at an additional cost.
